Sichuan Chemical Works (Group) Ltd was founded in the year of 1956. After more than 40 years, development, now it has become a super-large-scale chemical enterprise mainly producing fertilizers. One of the 18 large-scale chemical production bases, one of the 520 national key enterprises and one of the 500 largest industrial enterprises in China.

　　SCW is located in Qingbaijiang,Chengdu,Sichuan province,30 kilometers away from Chengdu and 60 kilometers from Chengdu International Airport. It has its own railway inside the production area which is connected to Bao-Cheng railway and its roadway is connected to Cheng-Mian express highway and Chuan-San highway.

　　SCW owns 22 direct subordinates covering production,management,research & development,engineering and construction etc,having 9 daughter companies with sole investment or dominant share, 14 share holding enterprises and 50 cooperative members.By the end of 1999,SCW owned 11000 staff members and workers (Among which more than 4000 are technical people), 2.1 billion yuan of assets, 1.5 billion yuan of annual sale, becoming the largest producer of nitrigenous fertilizer, melamine and L-lysine, taking the lead in China chemical industry for its superiority in production, technology, management, talent people and location.
